Your impact

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Professional on various Life Sciences Biopharmaceutical projects throughout the United States. As a member of our Project Controls Team, you will gather and investigate weekly construction progress data provided by subcontractors. Verify validity of reported construction progress with field conditions. Attend subcontractor meetings to discuss construction progress reporting and forecasting. Input and maintenance of construction progress data reported by quantity surveyors in Jacobs reporting system. Work with construction management teams to maintain successful program forecast and subcontractor discrepancies with scheduled activities. Work with construction management superintendents to discuss payment application validity and earned value progress. Receiving, reviewing, and importing weekly progress measurement data to Jacobs project management system. Analysis and improvement of current project management database activities. Collection and buildout of progressable activity data as new subcontractors are onboarded. Analysis and interpretation of progress measurement and construction activity data. Weekly interfacing and data investigation with construction management teams to ensure validity and accuracy of reporting data. Reforecasting of progress measurement data to ensure accurate reporting of current planned project schedule, including analysis of trend data. Reporting of project management data to construction management teams and project leadership. Utilization of project management and progress measurement tools to verify and record project status including reality capture, lidar scanning, and model milestone tracking. As needed, perform additional Project Controls support roles including, but not limited to, Cost Management, Quantity Surveyor, Project Planner, Digital Delivery, and Data Analytics. Manage and support underlying support staff within Project Controls to enable efficient workflow and bandwidth across the teams.

The work location for this position is Cary, NC and various unanticipated work locations in the US.
