The role requires a good knowledge of product domain, the Agile software development methodology and the process involved in product development and maintenance.The role requires managing a varied workload of multiple ongoing tasks including new function development and product maintenance.

• Using design and analysis tools to define problem statements and drive solutions.
• Working closely with cross-functional/multi-disciplinary teams including software architects, developers, quality analysts and product managers to iteratively design and develop solutions for our products.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 6 to 8 years of experience designing and developing mainframe applications and system exits in an IBM z/OS environment.
• Strong experience in z/OS Assembler, JCL, VSAM, JES2/3, SDSF, ISPF.
• Strong experience in at least one DBMS (IMS/DB2).
• Strong Diagnostics, Debugging and Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong experience in z Enterprise Architecture and z/OS Internals.
• Experience in Agile methodology and use of Jira.
• Experience with writing documentation for developed applications and features.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of the software development process.
