As a member of the QS-R&D team, you will work closely with engagement teams in the US on a variety of clients, including some of the largest global corporations and transactions. In your role, you will perform expenditure data analysis to calculate eligible Qualified Research Expenses (“QREs”) to determine applicable R&D Credit that can be claimed by our clients.
Your key responsibilities
- · Managing multiple engagements simultaneously and reviewing the workbooks.
- · Reviewing/Creating client calculations and importing client expense data into our proprietary client delivery platform
- · Analysing the expenditure data by reviewing client payroll, general ledger expenses, invoices, engagement letters, etc.
- · Reviewing/Preparing computations and documentation that support the analysis of the QREs and R&D Credit
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in accounting, tax, business and project management or CPA
- 7+ years of experience working on US R&D Tax Credits
- Extensive knowledge of IRC Section 41 & Section 174
- Strong Data analytical skills along with proficiency in MS-Office tools (MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-Power point)
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to review US R&D Tax credits workbooks
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong time management and task management skills and working with different engagement teams
- Ability to handle and manage multiple concurrent engagement timelines and stakeholders
