Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of Electrical experience (e.g., electrical testing equipment or electrical distribution) in an industrial or commercial environment.
Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment, the required use of safety equipment like limited weight bearing work platforms, ladders, step stools and personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety and ergonomic guidelines and assessments.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotation and 12-hour rotating shifts.
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree, trade school certification, verifiable training in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in operating and maintaining mission critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, pharma, semiconductor, refineries, power plants, industrial etc).
Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units and CRAC units.
Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal operations or during emergency conditions.
Ability to work with varying outdoor temperature conditions.
