You will oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope, and provide oversight for the assigned portfolio of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and designspecifications.2. Partner with key business stakeholders to assess current processes, pain points and improvement opportunities. Develop and implement future business processes.3. Act as a liaison between the business teams and IS&T (Information Systems and Technology) to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions.4. Drive the design, development, implementation and management of solutions for Customers.5. Work with business leads to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term divisional strategies.6. Implement new ideas effectively within the Apple culture. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach.7. Provide functional subject matter expertise.8. Manage complex projects to major milestones. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; obtain executive approval and funding.9. Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success.10. Facilitate project related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work.11. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to management and senior executive teams.
  • Bachelors degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years broad supply chain management exposure with expertise in new product introduction and supply chain operations.
  • Experience driving supply chain process improvement / Kaizen, quality Six Sigma, and Lean efforts
  • Experience planning, managing, and delivering medium (6-8 month) to large (8-12+month) projects, including brainstorming and requirements gathering.
  • Knowledge of NPI Processes and SAP ERP system is a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of systems implementation and development life cycles, including business process flow diagramming.
  • Literacy with process modeling tools, MS Excel, and basic project planning tools
