Your impact

You will be assigned to a range of projects and day to day tasks could include:

  • Designing and engineering traffic management solutions to improve transport networks.
  • Transformational placemaking to reduce the impact of transport on the built and natural environment.
  • Developing solutions to improve walking and cycling provision.
  • Considering solutions that cater for a range of users.
  • Aligning transport schemes to the current policy context (e.g. decarbonisation, sustainability and economic recovery).
  • Use of engineering software such as AutoCAD or Civil3D.

You will have the support of a mentor, our management team and experts who will help guide your progress. You will also be given the opportunity to pursue relevant business and technical training to support your career development, as well as room to grow your network and knowledge base to create innovative solutions.

Here's what you'll need
  • 120 UCAS points to include Grade C or above in Maths, plus a pass in one of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computing/Computer Science, Design and Technology, Electronics, Engineering, ICT, Further Maths, Music Technology, Physics or Statistics.   • A flexible and proactive self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills
  • The ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study priorities
  • Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems
  • Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements
  • A well-rounded person – have you travelled around the world? Worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us - we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences!
  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
