In this role, you will contribute towards Jacobs' competitive advantage through analytics and data science, supporting both internal projects and external client requirements. Ideal candidates are early-career professionals or recent graduates with a foundational skill set in data management, statistics, programming languages, keen on exploring business process engineering and system integration. This position offers the chance to be involved in a wide range of analytical services, from basic data processing to complex, interactive decision-support systems tailored to client needs.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, from an accredited university.
- 2 years of experience in data science or a related field, including academic projects or internships specifically focusing on data analytics; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic proficiency with Python, typescript, or other programming languages.
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of or exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Strongly preferred knowledge of Palantir.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time CONUS and OCONUS. With the ability to also obtain a U.S. Government Common Access Card.
