What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Subject matter expert of equipment used in their area, supporting improvements and escalations related to yield, quality, downtime, and safety
- Manage equipment performance and present OEE data. Manage equipment and product roadmaps to meet design and production ramp plans
- Design new equipment/machine stations as well as manage tooling upgrades for existing production stations
- Work with equipment vendors to establish Tesla standards and requirements for manufacturing technologies
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent in experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on mechanical and electrical experience in a production environment
- Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software
- Understanding of automation systems, mechanical engineering, robotics, PLCs, data collection systems
- Experience with drilling, tapping, and utilizing basic shop tools. Working knowledge of data analysis, statistics, SPC
- Able to maintain organization and focus in a highly dynamic environment. Excellent communicator, both in presentations and written reports
