This internship aims to establish a simulation environment dedicated to the analysis of secure circuits (side-channel attacks). The first step will be to understand the general functioning of existing ASIC synthesis scripts and then adapt them for use on individual modules. The next phase will focus on setting up a simulation flow for netlists derived from synthesis, incorporating constraints specific to security analyses. Practical security analysis examples, such as attacks on cryptographic modules, can be implemented.

Skill Requirements

• Knowledge in SoC/IP designs, RTL Coding and Simulation,

• Knowledge in Synthesis tooling,

• Interest for tooling, scripting, building flow and CAD environment,

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Good communication and reporting skills in English language

• Self-driven, able to work with minimum supervision,

• Tools/Languages: Verilog/SystemVerilog, Cadence/Synopsys/Mentor Graphic, Git versioning, linux, bash, TCL, Python.

Preferred Education

• Last year of Master's degree in Microelectronic Engineering.
