What you'll be doing:
Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies and solutions to support NVIDIA’s brand initiatives, aligning trademark protection and enforcement with business objectives.
Oversee the trademark clearance and prosecution process to protect and strengthen the company’s global intellectual property portfolio, working closing with outside counsel and diverse internal partners.
Develop scalable processes, templates, playbooks and training crafted to enable cross-functional teams to make informed, rapid decisions while aligning with legal and regulatory requirements.
Advise on a wide range of brand-related matters, including rights of publicity, brand collaborations, social media campaigns, promotional materials, and user-generated content to ensure compliance with trademark and related laws.
Lead online brand enforcement initiatives, handling domain name dispute resolution (e.g., UDRP proceedings), and overseeing proactive monitoring and removal of trademark infringements across digital platforms, social media, and online marketplaces.
What we need to see:
6-10 years’ relevant legal experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, licensing and enforcement.
Demonstrated knowledge of managing a large global trademark portfolio in a wide range of jurisdictions.
Experience advising on rights of publicity, brand collaborations, social media content and user-generated content.
Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school; admitted to the bar and in good standing in the jurisdiction of hire, or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status).
