The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations is a global organization within CISO (Chief Information Security Office) with 600+ staff located across the globe. IAM Ops manages entitlement and provisioning of access for internal Citi employee / contractors and increasingly for external Citi clients who are using Citi applications. IAM Ops works in partnership with CISO to build appropriate security architecture in new apps and supports large business driven technology projects related to information security issues.
What you will do:
- Develop and drive a high-performance team by recruiting the right skills sets for the team and conducting regular one-on-one meetings with each staff member, ensure appropriate training is provided to the team, encourage personal development plans and deliver specific ongoing feedback at every opportunity.
- Mentor and coach individuals within and/or outside of his/her team.
- Check and reviews implementation of already established security procedures within the framework of specific system assignments, focusing on the full scope of IAM Service Catalogue requirements for simple thru complex, multi-tiered applications. Responsible for the service/compliance quality and accuracy.
- Partner with Site Head to ensure operational needs are met for Risk & Control, Reengineering, Employee Engagement and Financial Controls.
- Effectively use Talent Management process and system to drive team performance. Hold others accountable for performance on common goals. Address performance issues.
- Apply best practices in coaching on a daily basis. Works with others to identify development needs and resources. Provide team leadership.
- Understand and apply complex decision-making processes. Seeks out input from all involved stakeholders. Comprehend all risks in decision-making. Involved in higher level decisions.

- Demonstrates strong understanding of end-to-end Citi products, processes, policies, regulations, and governance. Initiates process changes and improvements considering the Risk & Control and information security aspects.
- Able to handle simple thru complex, multi-tiered escalations, problems by utilizing key information security administration practices, policies and providing excellent customer service. Lead to resolve severity escalations and responsible for the team to identify root cause and create corrective action plan(s) as necessary.
- Represent and support IAM Ops on Risk & Control calls, meetings with Audit. Collect and analyze evidence (deliverables) with Risk & Control for internal/external audits.
- Identify registers and resolves potential compliance issues. Drive and encourage Information Security culture.
- Accountable for accuracy of Information Security Administration inventory.
- Assist the Site Head to lead the employee engagement activities and liaise with business and site champions to manage action plans against VOE initiatives.
- Interpret and guide others in the principle of Information Security concepts and policies; and develops and implements into day-to-day work. Ability to explain principles behind IS/IAM policies and guidelines.
- Communicate the need for change to remain competitive. Involves others in the change process. Understands complex change theory and how to overcome resistance to change.
- Inspire others through communication of Citi, organization and department vision, strategy, and goals. Align work to Citi, organization and department vision, strategy and goals. Develop strategy and SMART goals for key initiatives. Ensure accountability for goal achievement.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in an Information Security Administration environment (ISA provisioning, compliance reviews, incident/change management handling security engineering or related IS field) is desirable.
- Technical experience in security administration supporting a large user environment.
- Solid understanding of industry standard security practices desirable.
- 5+ years’ experience in people management.
- Good command of English language (both verbal and written).
- Experience with BI tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and without any influence from manager.
- Manage multiple efforts and adjust priorities with evolving work efforts.
- Strong people management skills focusing on development and growth of team.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Proven use of discretion and judgment given the subject sensitivity of the work data
- Strong communications skills
- Developed diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
