Job responsibilities:

  • Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
  • Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
  • Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic/intermediate complexity
  • Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

REQUIRED qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Experience in DevOps related roles with focus on infrastructure upgrades, cost analysis and real time alerts & monitoring
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, Terraform
  • Experience in setting up of monitoring and observability dashboards using Splunk, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace etc.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining a large corporate environment code with one or more modern programming languages (Java spring boot, Python, etc)
  • Exposure to relational database preferably Oracle and decent understanding of SQL/PL-SQL code.
  • Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning etc.)
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
