As a Capital One SailPoint Engineering leader, you’ll work on the SailPoint identity platform, leading a team to support the Identity Access Management needs of the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization.

• Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members

• Provide regular updates to the management team on project progress

• Support the rollout and onboarding of new applications

• Responsible for overall delivery of software components which meet functional specifications & product requirements

• Automate component & integration tests

• Collaborating with tech leads to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery

• Good knowledge of secure coding practices

• Be fearless and try out new open sourcetechnologies/frameworksto solve business problems

• Be fungible in a full stack team and own all aspects of delivering business applications

• Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing problem resolutions to related incidents

• Operational support with change and incident management processes

BasicQualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)

• At least 6 years of experience in Java or Python

• At least 4 years of experience in writing SQL Queries to extract data.

• At least 4 years of people management experience

• At least 4 years of experience troubleshooting end user issues

• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree

• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go

• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service

• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks

• 4+ years of experience in SailPointIIQ

• 7+ years of people management experience

• 4+ years of experience in IAM

• 4+ year of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• 3+ years of experience with Role Based Access Controls (RBAC)

• 2+ years of Agile practices

• ITIL Certification

• AWS Certification

• SailPoint Certification
