As a Cognyter you will:

  • Identify and cultivate strong channel partners to expand our business, particularly within the defense, military, and national security domains.
  • Work closely with regional sales teams to maintain productive, long-term business relationships and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and implement new growth strategies targeting emerging markets, verticals, and innovative business models that meet evolving customer needs.
  • Drive growth in the early stages of the sales funnel within the region by actively generating new business opportunities.
  • Take full accountability for acquiring new clients (logos) and driving business expansion in assigned markets.
  • Conduct cold calls, outreach, and networking activities to generate leads, qualify prospects, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients through comprehensive market research, trade shows, internet follow-ups, and other outreach methods.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create effective lead-generation campaigns and collateral.
  • Attend key industry events and conferences to network, engage with potential clients, and generate leads.

For that mission you’ll need:

  • 15+ years of business development experience, specifically in the law enforcement, national security, military intelligence, or defense technology sectors.
  • A strong network and deep understanding of key markets within the APAC region, including Japan, Australia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
  • Willingness to travel within the region for up to 1-2 weeks per month.
  • Proven track record in successfully navigating the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing complex deals, with exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver impactful presentations.
