As a Oversight Obligations Manager, within the Network Management team you will manage the oversight obligations with respect to applicable third party oversight regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in building the appropriate due diligence processes and risk assessment of any risks identified on the agent banks and FMIs side. Network Management is a central function within the CIB Digital & Platform Services organization responsible for managing the J.P. Morgan’s Lines of Business (“LOBs”) relationships with their network of local market participants and market infrastructures. These critical providers include Financial Market Infrastructures (“FMIs”) (payment systems, central counterparties (CCPs), and check clearing systems) and Agent Banks (sub-custodians, cash correspondents, partners, and clearing banks).

Job responsibilities

  • Conducts EMEA regulatory impact assessments upon the Network Management policies and procedures
  • Engages with LOB, Compliance and Legal stakeholders when conducting impact assessments of new regulatory requirements
  • Acquires an understanding of the end-to-end Network Management oversight processes to be able to complete impact assessments
  • Participates in Regulatory Working Groups and provide briefings to Network Management ExCo and LOBs on regulatory initiatives
  • Manages any enhancements to the team’s processes and policies to request the necessary approvals and present at the relevant governance forums to be compliant with Network Management’s change processes
  • Prepares and present training to Network Management teams
  • Performs annual review of jurisdictional impact analysis for regulatory requirements applicable to Network Management
  • Prepares responses to regulatory requests where applicable
  • Performs inherent risk rating assessments of service providers
