Be part of a team that designs, develops, andintegrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell AerospaceElectronic Solutions, CNS (Communication, Navigation, & Surveillance), and RadarProduct Line. You will be instrumental in designing, planning, and coordinatingwork teams, as well as providing technical support. You will also generateinnovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways todeal with problems and opportunities. You will interface and exchange withinternal and external customers, vendors and suppliers throughout the life ofthe project.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering orComputer Science
• 10+ years of real-time embedded softwaredevelopment and documentation experience
• 5+ years of experience in the developmentof avionics system software (DO-178B/C)


• Experience providing technical leadershipto a multi-functional, cross-site team
• Experience working within Honeywell'ssoftware development processes for safety-critical applications including RadarSystems
• Working knowledge of Honeywell's Radarsoftware development tools and processes
• Advanced level knowledge of Radaralgorithms
• Working knowledge of softwarecertification processes and strategies including DO-178 B & C
• Understanding various softwaredevelopment lifecycle
• Significant relevant experience
• Knowledge of software configurationmanagement and change management practices
• Diverse and global teaming andcollaboration
• Effective communicator
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Individuals who are self-motivated andable to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative toget things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
