Description
This role requires someone with deep expertise in developing, launching, maintaining, and extending products. A hire for this role will accelerate the team through helping to develop standard methodologies, creating strong architecture/design, developing software with velocity, and substantial individual technical contributions. The role requires a strong ownership mindset to collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve dependencies. The candidate will triage issues resulting from internal live-on population, analyze logs, reproduce bugs and help determine priority of problems, while identifying emerging trends across the reported issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in one programing language
  • 2-3 years of experience software development - contributed to code, code reviews, design reviews, and maintain production systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with excellent expertise in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Objective-c or Swift.
  • Expertise in design patterns.
  • Have contributed to shipping platform/products to production, and supported/extended them post launch.
  • Have driven technical decision-making and software development from product definition to ship for multiple shipped products.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
