Description
In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you will:- Develop optical characterization and test tools leveraging computer vision and machine learning- Design and execute automated tests to validate front-of-screen display performance- Partner with silicon, hardware, and software teams to drive key issues to closure- Leverage crisp data to influence product quality decisions and champion the customer experience in every phase of the development process
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant coursework in computer vision and machine learning technologies
  • Project experience applying CV/ML in image or video processing applications
  • Experience developing in Python, Swift or Objective-C, familiar with databases, SQL and scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications
  • Design and development experience using object oriented programming
  • Experience with test automation/pipelines with deployment tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub
  • Knowledge of modern display technologies (OLED, miniLED, IPS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of color science concepts
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,700 and $174,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
