The role and responsibilities entail:
- Be responsible for quality and testing of Salesforce applications
- Work cross-functionally with the development team, project managers, business analysts, and more
- Plan, design, develop and execute tests that assure feature functionality and reliability expectations
- Collaborate with your peers on testing practices and strategies
Key Skills
- Proficiency in testing various Service Cloud functionalities, including case management, assets, entitlements, accounts, Knowledge Base, Service Console, Omni Channel routing.
- Basic understanding of Sales Cloud standard objects and salesforce communities.
- Experience testing Salesforce applications in a with salesforce releases/builds occurring frequently (Monthly/Fortnightly).
- Understanding of Salesforce Application in Profile, Users, Roles, permission sets.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Classic features.
- Experience in Creating and Modifying Reports and Dashboards.
- Demonstrate ability to plan, document, evaluate, track, and communicate testing results to ensure error-free deployments.
- Good experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, System, Ad hoc and Smoke testing.
- Must have experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies. Ability to work with Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Developers in sprint grooming, planning, retrospective meetings, and to provide testing support in bi-weekly releases.
- Should interpret design and technical specifications and provide QA time estimates.
- Analyse test results to discover and report on defects.
- Provide status updates and identify as well as communicate risks in a timely manner.
- Design, create Test Cases based on requirements and other supporting documents.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Zephyr tools.
- Good organization. Ability to work and with peers and management, including interacting with a globally dispersed team.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills. A good team player.
- Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering
