Your Impact
We are seeking a creative and technically savvy Game-Based Learning Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and developing interactive, game-based learning modules that help students understand complex networking and IT concepts through hands on interactive visualizations and exchanges with an embedded AI learning coach.
- Design & Development: Create engaging, interactive game-based learning experiences that align with educational goals and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop content that bridges the gap between theory and practice.
- Innovation: Leverage AI and multi-modal approaches to push the boundaries of educational technology and ensure Cisco remains a leader in the edtech industry.
- Deployment & Testing: Implement and test learning modules, ensuring high-quality and seamless user experiences across platforms.
- Feedback & Improvement: Gather user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the educational impact and usability of learning modules.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in game development or instructional design with proven track record of creating game-based learning or interactive educational content.
- Experience developing games using web-based technologies: HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of AI/ML/GenAI concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD
- Experience and knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies and learning theories
- Familiarity with AI and its application in providing real-time feedback to learners in educational settings
- Experience in networking or IT education.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of learning modules.
