Description
- You will build, scale and grow a team of outstanding engineers.- You will form trusting partnership with senior ICs and managers that are geographically distributed to push the product’s roadmap forward.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, or related field – or equivalent experience with 10+ years of experience
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to dive deep as needed to facilitate technical strategy trade-offs and zoom out to understand the big picture to shape the product.
  • Experience hiring strong technical talent while maintaining the team culture.
  • Consistent track record of mentoring and helping engineers grow their careers.
  • Ability to lead across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineering manager.
  • Experience working on distributed databases, distributed storage or other similar large scale distributed systems.
  • Experience building and running reliable platform systems supporting high-scale and critical workloads, including fast response and short mean-time-to-restore service.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
