What you'll be doing - Translate, revise, or adapt software and accompanying technical documents to another language. Actively operate Unity's Latin America social media accounts to inform and engage regional customers about offerings, news, and events.
- Provide English to Spanish Localization Support. Help develop and refine Global Localization production services and workflows, ensuring efficient processes for localization efforts.
- Support the upkeep of the Unity language style guide and terminology list for International Spanish content, ensuring consistency in language, expression, and tone. Compile terminology and information to be used in translations, including technical terms.
- Provide localization translation support and guidance to the Customer Success team for the translation of Spanish Unity Knowledge Base articles. Assist with procurement tasks and keep project tracking tools like Jira, Favro, and Trello updated, in alignment with language content, while also organizing team content on platforms like Confluence and SharePoint.
- Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout content revisions. Use computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information in different language content.
What we're looking for - Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, degree in Translation, Localization Project Management, Translation and Localization Management, Interpretation, or related field, and one (1) year of related work experience.
- Must have one (1) year of experience with/in each of the following: Translation Management System (XTM, Trados, or SDL); Captions and translated subtitles that comply with regional style and accessibility requirements; Coordinating projects across geo-global regions and cultures; Management of style guide glossaries and translation memories; and Coordinating or performing English/Spanish interpretation tasks; editing, reviewing, and evaluating Spanish content.
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
