Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall data science strategy, aligning with corporate goals and objectives.

Expected Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience supporting consumer-facing digital or payments businesses where analytics drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • Strong stakeholder management and storytelling ability — capable of framing analytics in a business-first, outcome-oriented way.

2. Advanced Data & Measurement Expertise

  • expertisein data science, experimentation, and causal inference, with a pragmatic balance of rigor and speed.

  • in SQL, Python/R, and familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines, metric frameworks, and experimentation systems at enterprise scale.

3. Leadership & Team Development

  • History of building and leading high-performing analytics teams with diverse technical and business skills.

  • Skilled at mentoring and developing analytics talent andestablishinga culture of data-driven decision-making.

  • Adept at operating within matrixed organizations, bridging analytics with product, marketing, and finance.

4. Commercial & Financial Acumen

  • Strong grasp of P&L dynamics, understanding how analytics informs revenue, cost, and margin levers.

  • Experience analyzing consumer lifecycle metrics, pricing elasticity, and ROI frameworks.

  • Ability to connect insights directly to financial outcomes and strategic investments.

5. Communication & Executive Presence

  • Exceptional data storytelling skills — can distill complex insights for executive audiences.

  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and driving strategic alignment through analytics-driven recommendations.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to link data to customer experience, brand strategy, and financial performance.
