Drive cross-functional efforts and initiatives to implement fleet improvements with the manufacturing, design, field service, technical support teams
Lead, mentor, and grow engineers into global product engineering experts
Work with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams to drive design and manufacturing product improvements in both existing and future products
Work with field service and technical support teams to create documentation and training to support field commissioning, service actions, and to ensure consistent and stable global service operations
Utilize remote data analysis, fleet analytics and first principles insights to solve problems with some lab work and onsite investigations as needed
Troubleshoot and root cause hardware, software and firmware issues of the global Supercharger network
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with product engineering, reliability engineering, failure analysis, systems test engineering, or product quality engineering
Working knowledge of SQL, Spark and Python
Strong engineering fundamentals and intuition, applied to firmware/software/hardware of connected systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience debugging complex systems
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally in a collaborative manner across many teams
Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous tasks and challenges
Exceptional communication skills, including to leadership and executive levels
