Your responsibilities will include:• Partnering with Designers and Art Directors on projects that may require an illustration or animation commission.• Understand and execute NDAs and contracts and become deeply familiar with the terms andusage associated with artwork.• Stay active within the art, design and content creation community by finding talent, buildingrelationships with agencies, and keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends.• Manage commissions from concept to delivery, negotiating scope, usage, terms andcost.• Lead internal events for our Design teams to learn about new potential partners, improve our external relationships and grow our skillset as one of the world’s leading commissioners of illustration and motion work.
- Strong demonstrable experience with commissioning illustration or creative production
- A deep interest in illustration, design, animation and typography
- A strong industry network within the world of illustration
- The ability to work to challenging deadlines
- The ability to prioritise tasks and anticipate change and react efficiently
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- The ability to handle 15+ projects simultaneously
- Confident in leading Art Directors through the illustration / motion production process from concepting to invoicing
- Discretion in handling confidential materials and issues
- You excel under pressure maintaining a calm demeanour
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- You have a can-do attitude and are an independent problem solver
