Description
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams in the company to measure and analyze wireless radio power for future Apple products. To be successful in this role, you must have attention to details and passion towards optimizing power. This role will require good understanding of one wireless system architecture, such as Cellular or WiFi. It also requires knowledge of using modern cellular/WiFi test equipments and automation to exercise end user network conditions in lab to evaluate power for end to end system use cases.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Hands on experience in developing and validating test cases for mobile devices or wireless technologies using popular test development platforms
  • Familiarity with at least one of modern wireless standards including LTE, 5G NR, or WiFi 802.11
  • Familiarity of automation and scripting language/library such as Python3, Pandas or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years hands on experience in wireless System Testing with focus on Power
  • Hands on experience with high speed time series power measurement on early stage hardware
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
