Key responsibilities:
Design, implement, test, and document real-time embedded aviation software for Cockpit Display Systems following DO-178C guidelines.
Project Execution: Complete pre-defined project subtasks to meet customer specifications and ensure timely, specification-compliant work.
Collaboration: Exchange task-level information with team members and participate in project meetings and presentations.
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers to solve technical challenges and break down complex requirements into meaningful advancements.
Testing: Test the developed avionics Display & Graphics software on real avionics hardware/platforms and assess new requirements' complexity and effort.
Key requirements:
University degree in a relevant field.
8+ years of commercial experience in C++/C development. Python is a plus.
Experience with OpenGL and Vulkan code, knowledge of graphics rendering pipeline is considered an advantage. Being familiar with FPGA is a plus.
Willingness to tackle ambiguous tasks, adopt new technologies/tools, and deliver quickly. Experience working in international environments with virtual teams and a proactive approach to learning. Ability to work in complex aerospace environments.
Advanced command of the English language.
