Key Responsibilities
People Development & Coaching
- Conduct regular field visits with sales team to coach, support, assess performance, gather insights, & assist in tailored customer strategies & relationships
- Lead by example by displaying openness to change & a willingness to focus on the opportunities presented by change
- Development of individual development plans for direct reports
- Drive optimisation & adoption of Customer Relations Monitoring tools
Business Management & Sales Execution
- Develop & execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue & market share goals.
- Prepare & present regular reports on regional performance, forecasts, gap analysis & action plans.
- Responsible for setting annual targets together with BUM & Country Management.
- Assist in Market Models, Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Plan & P&L Management
Market Analysis & Industry knowledge
- Possesses a good understanding of the healthcare industry, pricing / reimbursement strategies & economic customer needs
- Understanding of overall business including trends & Boston Scientific corporate strategy
- Responsible for providing tools to team to ensure up to date industry, competitor & product knowledge
- Analysis of sales data, market trends, & competitor activities in collaboration with Cross Functional Br& Team
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with internal- & external stakeholders to enhance business performance
- Proactively identify customer needs & business opportunities to ensure incorporation into business plan & activities
- Assist in planning & participating in customer events such as trade shows, conferences, educational events, product launches.
Quality
- Ensures awareness & compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply & champion Quality & Regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, & industry requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the distribution of medical devices.
- Experience in Cardiology & aptitude for acquiring technical knowledge
- Experience developing sales & business strategy & demonstrated commercial track record of success.
- Team player, ability to foster strong relationships with local & International counterparts
- Strong analytical skills
- Good project management skills, with focus not only on planning, but monitoring, follow-up & completing projects
- A broad knowledge of business, scientific, economic, social & public policy trends affecting the medical device industry
- Willingness to travel both locally & internationally.
