In this role, you will be part of the firmware product validation team responsible for defining the product-level validation strategy, developing an automation environment, creating test cases, and performing initial issue debugging.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze hardware and software specifications to understand system requirements and validation needs
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements from architects and relevant technical documents
- Implement test cases to validate firmware functionality and performance
- Debug and refine tests by analyzing failures, identifying root causes, and making necessary corrections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, customer-facing teams, and development to ensure robust validation coverage and bug triage
Minimum Qualifications:
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field
At least 3-4 years of experience in software/firmware validation
Knowledge on hardware interfaces like: PCIe, SPI, eSPI, I2C, SMBus, UART
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Nice to have:
Experience in automation development
Knowledge of Python
Experience in complex products
Knowledge on PCH workflows/services and/or CPU boot logic
