In this role, you will manage a talented team of scientists to to build large-scale GenAI models that will be able to understand and predict the state and future of our buildings, network, and orders.You will face a high level of research ambiguity and problems that require creative, ambitious, and inventive solutions. You will lead a team of scientists to solve cutting-edge problems going beyond the published state of the art that will drive transformative change on a truly global scale. You will collaborate with teams of engineers to leverage solutions in production. You will lead the vision and implementation and communicate both to higher level leadership at Amazon.

Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative field • 10+ years of experience in machine learning, or a related field • Proven track record of leading and managing science teams and delivering impactful results • Expert knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques. • Familiarity with large-scale data processing and storage systems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

PhD in quantitative field, and experience with building applications using Large language models
