By joining the Technology Consulting team as a Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Solution Architect, you will be helping our clients to utilize Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform. You will lead pre-sales engagements, provide expert services to solution large complex deals that span multiple technologies and offerings.

You will lead the delivery team and provide Solution Architecture guidance and direction leveraging your deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform. You will use your breadth of IT knowledge to help our clients navigate their journey to the cloud and develop and implement solutions to meet their business requirements.

Your key responsibilities

  • For Power Platform: Model Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, PowerApps Portals / Power Pages, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • For Dynamics 365 CE - One or more of the following - Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, Omnichannel, Customer Voice.
  • Azure basics: Service Bus, Storage, Logic Apps, Functions
  • Have experience integrating with other MS technologies (Microsoft 365, Office 365, SharePoint, C#/ Web Development)
  • Define all elements of the solution model in sufficient detail including the target architecture, scope of services, implementation roadmap, staffing estimates, risks mitigation plan, proposal, cost, and timelines for delivering the services
  • Convert requirements to functional specs and functional design documents
  • Create high-quality technical/functional documentation
  • Design and develop appropriate, secure, and scalable solutions based on best practices.
  • Prototype and configure processes to make sure the system works the way your client needs it to
  • Run workshops with your clients, consultants and client leaders to analyse and design solutions for any application, and handle gaps detected during prototyping
  • Work with the technical team to make sure that your clients' needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions
  • Create or evaluate a breakdown of your clients’ businesses processes so that you can identify and link functional and non-functional requirements
  • Establish and manage expectations of the pursuit team regarding the Solution Architect’s responsibilities, including any constraints or additional Architect/Subject Matter resources that will be needed for the pursuit
  • Lead internal reviews completion, proposal preparation and client discussions on the solution and proposal
  • Facilitate and accelerate the decision process, considering the customer’s business strategy, drivers, requirements, and challenges; whilst bearing in mind the relevant industry trends.
  • Discover, assess, evaluate, and challenge strategic customer objectives by translating them into digital transformation opportunities that leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
  • Experience of working with requirements and business process mapping skills.
  • Use your knowledge and the Microsoft collective knowledge to identify and propose the best possible solution for the Customer.
  • An ability to create and maintain high quality technical specification documents.
  • Have a proven track record contributing to successful implementations
  • Project Management / Agile experience
  • Documents settings and prepare your clients to use the system
  • Support testing the proposed system and train users

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Deep understanding of D365 CE & Power Platform capabilities, solution architecture, integration methods & implementation practices including the Common Data Model of D365/Power Platform.
  • D365 & Power Platform Certifications: PL-600 and at least one of the following MB-210, MB-220, MB-230, MB-240, PL-200
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in D365/Power Platform configuration and development at Senior Developer/Lead Developer level.
  • A minimum of 5 years of D365/Power Platform Architectural experience.
  • Experience developing Microsoft D365/Power Platform ideally in a Consultancy role or similar.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Should have experience in using Azure DevOps
  • Excellent communication skills along with good analysis and documentation skills
  • Should have a positive and can-do approach
  • Experience managing/leading teams.
  • Azure and other Microsoft Certifications
