As a software development engineer on the team, you will:- Work in a fast-paced environment building products using Java, AWS (infrastructure, serverless, relational/NoSQL databases, Big Data/ML technologies etc.) along with a wide range of automated DevOps tools.- Seek to continually innovate and scale the services through researching design tradeoffs, and owning operational excellence.
- Work with a broad stakeholder group across advertisers, ad demand and supply programs, Prime Video, Alexa (and many more).
Key job responsibilities
- Research, design and code, troubleshoot and support. You own what you create.
- Own systems end-to-end including requirements clarification, design, implementation and roll-out to customers.- Work with our research scientists and product managers to design experiments with Machine Learning/Deep Learning techniques.- Be an early adopter of emerging AWS technologies for AdTech use cases.

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
