Your day to day
People management responsibilities, managing a scrum team.
Translate product requirements into technical solutions and take end-to-end ownership of the task from development to deployment
Participate in architectural discussions to improve our tech stack
Evangelize best practices and produce innovative solutions to improve our quality and excellence initiatives
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to make collaboration better between different teams
Mentor junior engineers in the teams
What do you need to bring:
Overall 10 years experience and proven experience as a team engineering manager.
Hands-on experience as a software developer, ideally in react or JavaScript, with experience across multiple layers of the application stack
Willingness to step in hands-on if necessary
Experiencein Agiledevelopment (and agile frameworks like Scrum andKanban) and commonly used tools likeJiraand GitHub.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across multiple functions.
Demonstrated self-motivation and self-direction connected with a passion for excellence in product and people.
Experience from fintech or retail sectors is a strong plus.
