As a member of the Financial Services Risk Transformation (FSRT) team, you’ll assist global financial services firms with technology improvement in a broad range of regulatory compliance areas. You’ll be assisting initiatives that provide strategic enhancement of IT systems or operational processes supporting financial crimes risk management. You’ll be in a client serving role focused on delivery of regulatory remediation, process and technology improvement, and delivering insights to our clients through enabling technologies in anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and fraud.
Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions and/or projects by delivering agreed activities, applying judgement, and selecting appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considerate of success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues.
- Accountable for meeting own targets which impact the immediate team.
- May help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members.
- Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, solution development and teaming etc.)
- Focuses on developing software components and services which interact with the upstream and downstream components Codes, programs and creates specifications to deliver development services that support business requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 3 years of work experience each of the following areas:
- Data analysis or exploration using structured (Relational) or unstructured databases.
- Developing and managing ETL pipelines or workflows and mapping of source-to-target data schemas.
- Developing data models, expertise in query optimization and data model optimization techniques.
- At least 3 years of experience working on one or combination of the following areas:
- Defining, analysing, and mapping technology business requirements
- Overseeing application delivery processes
- Proficiency in Git integration and version control systems
- Conducting quality assurance and testing
- Integrating systems and technologies
- Engaging in software development
- Implementing Agile methodologies for delivery and development
- Integrating applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness and ability to travel at 0%-25%
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with one of the cloud-based platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Experience with one of the programming languages, including but not limited to Python and/or Java.
- Experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc
- Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Alteryx and data analytical tools such as R
- Experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Transaction Monitoring rules, customer segmentation, threshold setting, and optimization strategies.

What we offer

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $66,300 to $135,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $79,500 to $153,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
