Key job responsibilities
Attainment of organizational performance goals and objectives relating to safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency in support of our data center operations.Oversight of a preventative maintenance system and the adherence to schedules, evaluation and performance of our infrastructure supporting the data center operations.Experience in successful insourcing and/or outsourcing specific maintenance task balancing internal skillsets with frugality.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
5+ years operating as a manager of managers in data centers or a manufacturing facility or as a Regional Director of Facilities Maintenance/Operations.
10+ years of relevant experience managing data center operations, facility engineering operations, critical environment facilities, data center build-outs and scaling, general manufacturing or similar
