Responsibilities:

  • Develop and build cash flow engine to generate both contractual cash flow and model project cash flow for both first mortgage loan and home equity loan portfolio.

  • Develop and improve automation process such as ongoing monitoring report process to support operational excellence.

  • Work as a part of a team to develop or enhance credit model, prepayment model, and loss forecasting models to improve risk management capability and support stress testing processes.

  • Create documentation for all activities involving model submissions and works with technology team in design of any system to efficiently and automatically generate documentations to expedite the model submission and model validation process.

  • Develop data visualization tools using Tableau to analyze and present data in order to support model development of mortgage loan loss forecast.

  • Develop delinquency transition models using Python / PySpark to forecast charge off events for mortgage loan portfolio risk management.

  • Support model innovations using machine learning techniques such as deep learning with supervised learning techniques to develop more advanced consumer credit model.

  • Conduct quantitative analytics on mortgage loan data using data science and statistics techniques to explore the data trend and improve data quality to support mortgage loan model development.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related; and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation.

  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Developing data visualization tools using Tableau to analyze and present data in order to support model development of mortgage loan loss forecast;

  • Developing delinquency transition models using Python / PySpark to forecast charge off events for mortgage loan portfolio risk management;

  • Supporting model innovations using machine learning techniques such as deep learning with supervised learning techniques to develop more advanced consumer credit model; and,

  • Conducting quantitative analytics on mortgage loan data using data science and statistics techniques to explore the data trend and improve data quality to support mortgage loan model development.
