Partner with cross-functional partners, including finance and application-specific data teams, throughout the full lifecycle; from assisting in the production, review and sign-off of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Map & Gap initial effort, to identifying Critical data elements (CDEs), pertaining to futures and cleared derivative products. This will require a strong understanding of exchange, asset class and product specifications as well as Listed Derivatives market structure, in order to provide guidance to partner teams.
Document data sources, consumers and how data flows through Citi systems, ensuring there are appropriate controls on data lineage and usage.
Work closely with finance and tech partners to help design appropriate data architecture, governance and operating models, providing the lens of product specific knowledge and expertise on futures and cleared swaps, to more generalist teams focused on data across the firm.
Understand data demands of new business initiatives, and ensuring these are being appropriately reflected in downstream systems. Validate static and reference data required is complete and accurate across Firm-wide data services.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Futures/ Derivatives Clearing is essential
Technical understanding of post trade clearing systems and process
Series 3
Business analyst / project management experience
Must be confident and able to communicate (both written and verbal) effectively at all organizational levels
Must be able to plan and organize own workload within tight deadlines and be able to work under pressure
Display initiative, a desire to contribute to discussions around process improvement and system enhancements
Consistently demonstrate tight controls, governance, documentation, standard operating procedures, testing, etc.

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
