Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related degree, or equivalent practical experience
Relevant academic, internship, work, or personal project experience in Hardware or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in one industry standard CAD tool for schematic capture and PCB layout, and layout practices for signal integrity, power delivery, and manufacturability.
Experience with Electrical Engineering fundamentals (e.g.,Circuit Theory, Analog and Digital Electronics, Electromagnetics basics) and PCB fundamentals (e.g., stack-up, basic design rules, component footprints and libraries).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree
Experience working on consumer hardware projects or in a hyperscale data center environment, and experience in bring-up, debugging, and testing of designed PCBs
Proficiency in a professional-grade CAD tool: Hierarchical schematics, design rule setup, script utilization, version control systems for collaborative design management.
Understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability principles and awareness of how design choices impact the actual production and testing of the board.
Ability to read and Interpret technical documentation, with excellent problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
