Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the overall QA strategy, including test planning, test automation for FortiSOAR platform
• Lead and mentor the QA team in adopting best practices for testing and quality assurance.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Architect, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Expand test automation coverage across multiple layers (UI, API, backend)
• Ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines include automated tests.
• Monitor and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing. Collaborate with development teams to analyze root causes and improve software stability.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct performance, scalability, and security testing to ensure products meet high-quality standards. Identify bottlenecks and work with engineering teams to address performance issues.
• Define and track key quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of QA processes. Provide regular updates to leadership on QA progress, risks, and overall quality status.
• Continuously evaluate and refine QA processes and methodologies to improve efficiency. Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies to enhance QA practices.

Requirements
• 8 to 12 years of Manual/Automation testing experience
• Experience with workflow engines or SOAR products used at scale
• Knowledge of all types of testing – UI, System, Functional, Integration, Regression testing
• Flexibility to work on different types of testing Automation, Manual, API, Performance etc
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming or scripting languages, database technologies, and networking fundamentals
• Good understanding of Linux commands
• Work experience in Product Company and security domain are added advantages
• Hands on experience in at least one programming language (Java/Python)
• Self-driven, passionate, a team player with a “can do” attitude
• Ability to interpret directions and work independently to ensure the work gets accomplished in a timely manner consistent with software quality assurance best practices
• Knowledge of SOAR/SIEM platforms, working with SOC teams will be advantage

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $95,900 - $127,900 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
