- Participates in efforts to elicit future systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to analyse, design and implementation business solutions for complex business problems.
- Participates in efforts to communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements, business requirements document, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs.
- Ensures the delivery of high quality technical solutions that meet business needs. Configures, develops, tests, monitors, and supports changes and enhancements to applications systems.
- Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative business solutions that challenges the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
- Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the application portfolio and its correlation to the business’ tactical and strategic plans.
- Utilizes industry best practices where relevant to client’s future.
- Work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants
- Assist the team with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new business systems and modules
- Manage the configuration and setup of related application solutions
- Supports all phases of the SDLC (software development life cycle).
Region Specific Responsible Areas: ( Describe the key specific responsibilities)
- Design and build new FDMEE integrations as well as maintain and enhance existing.
- Work with existing HFM, PBCS, and Essbase administrators to triage and fix issues with the integrations.
- Support financial close activities throughout the year.
Professional & Education Qualification
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred. Fields in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Job related experience for 3-5 years minimum.
- 2+ years development experience implementing solutions for complex systems support business processes.
- 3-5+ years development with FDMEE
- Proficiency in Hyperion PBCS
- Proficiency in Essbase
- Proficiency in HFM
- Familiarity with Python
- Experience in communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements, business requirements document, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs.
- Experience in driving process and technology re-engineering using industry practices e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, COBIT, ITIL, CMMi.
- Understanding of accounting, planning, and financial reporting concepts.

- Working knowledge of the following areas: system and business principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures, generally accepted managerial practices and procedures, programming, systems design, computer operating systems and utilities, project management, risk management, security, cost management, implementation and start-up of new business processes and computerized systems.
- In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in field. Strong development skills in relevant technology
- Business process knowledge preferred in accounting and planning processes and systems.
- Has good analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Understanding of software quality principles, including test methodologies.
