- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of data scientist experience
- 4+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
- 4+ years of data science/actuarial experience with Master’s degree or 6+ years of data science/actuarial experience with a Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science).
- Technical experience in P&C Actuarial
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
- Prior experience in non-traditional actuarial roles (e.g. ridesharing, InsurTech) and/or a range of traditional roles (e.g. pricing, reserving, modeling, ERM)
- Excellent at explaining actuarial concepts to non-insurance stakeholders
- Comfortable leading complex projects with cross-departmental resources and solving open-ended business problems with innovation
- Experience building new and unique insurance products
