The Finance Acctg Analyst 2 is a developing professional role responsible for the data configuration and platform services functions under Controller Operations and Data Service – Non-Ledger. The overall objective of this role is to ensure completeness and accuracy of reconciliations in the platform and released to different stakeholders timely.
Responsibilities:
Performs control checks and configuration activities in a reconciliation platform based on business requests (e.g. auto-matching updates, accounts builds, exception owner updates, etc.).
Works with different partners (e.g. technology, businesses, etc.) in case of issues noted in the data / process and to ensure root cause are identified and resolved to avoid recurrence.
Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic knowledge of related industry practices.
Delivery of routine and defined outputs.
Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience in Finance
Proficient knowledge of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area.
Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Ability to work with multiple functions
Proven problem-solving skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Should be amenable to work on NAM shift (6PM -3AM)
