Drive cross-functional efforts and initiatives to implement fleet improvements with the manufacturing, design, field service, technical support teams
Work with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams to drive design and manufacturing product improvements in both existing and future products
Work with field service and technical support teams to create documentation and training to support field commissioning, service actions, and to ensure consistent and stable global service operations
Utilize remote data analysis, fleet analytics and first principles insights to solve problems with some lab work and onsite investigations as needed
Troubleshoot and root cause hardware, software, and firmware issues of the global Supercharger network
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as a development, diagnostic or field support engineer
Experience with product engineering, reliability engineering, failure analysis, systems test engineering, or product quality engineering
Experience using SQL, Linux based operating systems, Python, and C/C++ or equivalent
Strong engineering fundamentals and intuition, applied to firmware/software/hardware of connected systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience debugging complex systems
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative manner across many teams and capacity for managing simultaneous tasks and challenges
Demonstrated data analytics and analysis
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams
