Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop efficient solutions.
- Write SQL codes and stored procedures to identify exceptions and develop Tableau reports, taking ownership end-to-end.
- Ensure codes are designed for performance and consistency, enhancing ad-hoc reporting capabilities.
- Organize reporting elements with clear labels and meaningful descriptions, automating processes with appropriate documentation.
- Proactively identify growth areas and communicate recommendations to influence strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized analyses and strategic roadmaps.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders and senior leaders.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience in data transformation and visualization.
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL code and automating data processes.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to manage and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of IT processes and databases, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders.
- Leadership ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively.
- Superior judgment to mitigate risk and foster an environment where risk/control issues are escalated.
- Experience in wrangling large datasets and optimizing SQL scripts.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with ETL tools like Alteryx and visualization tools like Tableau.
- Previous experience in an insights function at a financial services or consulting firm.
- Strong grasp of big data disciplines, AWS, Agile methodologies, and new technologies.
