As our Project Consultant intern, you will join our international, motivated team and take on responsibility from day one to shape the future of analytics at SAP. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and grow your talents, leveraging your expertise in a global role that interfaces with both business and technology. Reporting directly to the Corporate Functions Data to Analytics Head, you will work closely with the leadership team to manage and prepare internal and external requirements for our stakeholders, adjacent organizations, and partners.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Support Data Democratization Strategy Execution:
Assist in the orchestration of requests related to the data democratization topics
Provide support in the execution of the data democratization roadmap, focusing on business enablement.
Facilitate the adoption of data practices across various teams.
Gather and document use-cases that highlight the value and application of data democratization.
Assist in tracking the progress of key initiatives and milestones, ensuring timely completion.
Administrative Support:
Facilitate and organize leadership team meetings and events, ensuring they are well-coordinated and efficient, incl. meeting minutes and action points derivation.
Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for communications for the unit
Prepare, update, and refine materials—including PowerPoint presentations, reports, and Excel spreadsheets, to support executive meetings and team alignments
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Summarize objectives and communicate transparently with team members and stakeholders.
Engage in regular updates with the leadership team to ensure alignment and progress.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a university or university of applied sciences, preferably studying business administration, data analysis, IT, or related fields.
Organizational and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to manage complex schedules, prioritize tasks efficiently, and analyze data to support business operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability for abstract thinking.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations effectively.
Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactive problem solver with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, capable of handling confidential information and adapting to shifting priorities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with communication tools (Microsoft Teams, Outlook).
Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively to deliver results, optimizing the flow of value.
Good team player with a strong can-do attitude.
Good knowledge of databases and data modeling techniques or SAP Analytical Solutions is considered a plus.
