What you'll do

  • User Research Hands-On Learning: Initially, you will support experienced team members in conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing to learn effective research methods.
  • Progressive Skill Development: As you gain experience and skills, you will gradually take on more responsibility, eventually leading these research tasks independently.
  • Data Analysis Assistance: You will also assist in analyzing research findings to uncover user trends and pain points, initially with the guidance of other team members.
  • Collaborate on UX/UI: Collaborate with strategic designers and UX teams on various tasks, learning valuable skills and insights from experienced professionals.
  • Effective Documentation: Maintain records of research activities and assist in crafting clear reports with guidance from your mentor.
  • Continuous Learning and Mentorship: Embrace a continuous learning journey and benefit from mentorship practical experience.

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Psychology, Design, UX, Media Science, Innovation
  • Passion for User Research: An interest in understanding user behavior and contributing to user-centric design.
  • UX/UI Interest: Strong interest in UX/UI principles, research methods and techniques.
  • Portfolio: demonstrating your research skills and way of approaching a problem statement and your role in the research projects
  • Effective Communication: Proficiency in verbal and written communication for collaboration with the team.
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for accurate research data.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team-oriented mindset for working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Problem-Solving Attitude: A proactive approach to challenges and new opportunities.
  • Tech Curiosity: Basic familiarity with software tools used in research and data analysis is a plus.

You should be based in Berlin or the surrounding area, as you will need to work regularly on-site at our office in Berlin as part of a hybrid working model.
