We are seeking an
Senior Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Engineerto join our ANZ team in either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. As an experienced ITS engineer, you will apply standards and a best practice approach to the leading and delivery of ITS projects. You will

• Lead and prepare project lifecycle documents for ITS projects including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations and maintenance documents.
• Provide technical advice and reviews on a variety of ITS projects.
• Be accountable for the development and implementation of Systems Engineering Artifacts.
• Proactively build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Help to identify and communicate project risks and project opportunities throughout project lifecycles.
• Develop teamwork skills, have the opportunity to lead design teams.
• Participate in Community of Practice and employee network groups.
• Understands local strategy and growth drivers and client issues.

• Relevant Tertiary Engineering Degree or similar.
• Prior Australian ITS design infrastructure project experience is essential, including:
  1. Developing Detailed Design documentation.
  2. Asset placement, structural & civil coordination and constructability.
  3. Cross-discipline coordination.
  4. Executing Detailed Design through full project lifecycle.
  5. High level of capability in technical report writing.
  6. Electrical, Controls or Telecommunications network design.
• Desirable experience includes:
  1. Development of Concept of Operations and Operational Design Reports.
  2. Development of Systems Engineering artifacts.
  3. Traffic Control Signals design.
  4. Road Lighting design.
• Strong understanding in implementation of Quality management and independent review process.
• Ensure compliance with local and national codes and standards.
• Experience with Stakeholder engagement and management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Maintain Continuous Professional Development and track market ends.
• Work under minimal guidance, act as a resource for less experienced team members.
