Specific Role requirements
- Should have significant professional experience (16+) years in information analysis and in descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, and predictive analytics streams
- Develop blueprints for Analytics and Cognitive and deliver transformation projects in the Area of Business Intelligence and Visualization.
- Help ideate and build Data warehouse solutions by guiding technical BI teams.
- Good experience in building and managing multi-disciplinary analytics teams.
- Capability to clearly understand and articulate a business intelligence problem and lead multiple projects independently.
- Collaborating with Business Architect/Analyst and Data Domain Executive to translate business requirements into the appropriate data requirements
- Understanding, disseminating, and adopting applicable policies, standards, and processes corresponding to the data domain
- Working with the Data Architect/Analyst to review data profiling results and recommend authoritative data source for the attributes/elements within the data domain
- Providing inputs to the Data Domain Executive for data quality issue prioritization
- Monitoring changes to the business data requirements and ensuring the change and release management activities are executed for the data domain
- Working with the Data Architect/Analyst to provide subject matter advice in support of solution design for optimal integration with existing business processes
- Providing inputs to business process training materials to Business Architect/Analyst
Client Responsibilities:
- Accountable for data warehousing platforms and solutions, algorithmic design, and business intelligence products.
- Provide product and design-level technical best practices to data engineering teams
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team and the wider digital and technology organization to evolve the data architecture to support better integration and platform tools to support reporting and dashboarding.
- Proactively recommending and influencing changes in business decision-making.
- Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the leadership.
Experience and Qualification:
- B Tech/Masters or Ph. D. degree in either in IT streams or MBA (with strong quantitative background) or bachelor’s in engineering with a strong quantitative background and adequate industry experience
- Should have at least 14 years of experience in Analytics
- Should have an understanding and experience of analytics best practices.
- Excellent business communication, Consulting, and Quality process skills
- Should be a Thought Leader in various digital data management disciplines.
- Seasoned manager with a broad perspective of multiple business processes within Finance
- Understands how data is used within business processes and its impact on desired business process outcomes
- Experience with data analysis and data quality assessment techniques
- Ability to manage a complex workload that includes multiple tasks and conflicting priorities with minimal supervision
- Capable of examining data trends to determine the root cause of variations
- Skilled in conceptualizing, documenting, and presenting creative solutions
- Preferred education / training related to business process improvement, desired business outcomes, and quality-assurance methods
- Knowledge of data lifecycle activities (data definition, data lineage, data quality, etc.)

- Work with project management and enterprise architecture counter parts to ensure a unified strategy around hierarchies, reference data, and vocabularies
- Evaluate processes and procedures for adherence to the organization's quality standards by working with program functional teams to drive for requirement documentation.
- Provide input and guidance regarding master data and data quality standards and processes to business and solution teams
- Manage the master data governance processes
- Direct the development of governance workflow processes, and coordinate UAT and production roll-out
- Evaluate governance workflow requests to ensure adherence to EY global standards and policies
