As a perception test engineer for autonomous driving, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the perception modules that enable autonomous vehicles. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies in machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion, and collaborate with a talented team of perception developers and engineers. You will design, implement, and execute system test cases, analyze test results, identify, and report issues, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement. You will also develop test automation tools and frameworks to enhance test efficiency and coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Python, C++, and Linux

  • Familiar with perception algorithms, such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, and classification

  • Knowledge of large scale data systems

  • Knowledge of sensor data formats, such as lidar, camera, radar, and GPS/IMU

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated and team-oriented

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and execute system test cases for perception modules of autonomous driving systems

  • Analyze test results and identify issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks

  • Collaborate with perception developers and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement

  • Develop test automation tools and frameworks to enhance test efficiency and coverage

  • Maintain and update test documentation and reports

Pay range:

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00
