As the APAC Employee Communications and Community leader, you will cultivate a meaningful employee experience and culture for our employees in our Singapore international headquarters and offices across APAC, driving employee experiences and communications to connect and inspire our employees to do their best work. You will serve as the center of excellence for local APAC offices and advisor and enabler for key stakeholders, partners, and employee resource groups in the region. You will drive effective employee communications and engagement initiatives, laddering up to our enterprise strategy and business priorities.


What you will do:

  • Strategize and deliver APAC-wide employee programming around our key pillars, with ongoing employee events and communications focused on our business, employee wellness and development, and our community.

  • Lead all APAC regional employee communications, and deliver local Singapore communications.

  • Own the local employee events and engagement program for Singapore, including planning and execution of initiatives on-site. This includes the development and execution of promotional materials for Singapore, leveraging the best available internal communications channels

    (e.g. webpages, newsletters, posters, signage, etc.

  • Lead a team of two based in India and the Philippines respectively, and be a strategic partner in driving the calendars of events for our high priority sites across the APAC region. This encompasses site leadership counsel, cross-functional stakeholder guidance and oversight of execution by on-site team members.

  • Manage the Regional budget and maintain relationships with external vendors.

  • Build and nurture influential partnerships with key business stakeholders both locally and regionally. You will be a connector across all site elements, including Real Estate and facilities, HR, executive leaders, and Employee Resource Groups and Community teams.

  • Bring your knowledge and experience to maintain and build on the Center of Excellence and enablement models for global, regional, and site communications, with guidelines, processes, and reviews, along with customizable templates and materials.

  • Measure the impact of APAC experiences and communications in driving overall employee engagement.

Qualities of the right candidate for this role:

  • A minimum of six years of experience in employee communications and engagement or events for a globally dispersed workforce. Prior leadership and team management experience preferred.

  • Excellent writer, who can make and articulate complex ideas simply, creatively, and with heart. Creative and engaged in new forms of digital content and communications channels.

  • Experience in planning employee events and programs such as All Hands, Employee Resource Group and Community Impact events, fireside chats, etc.

  • Passion for driving understanding of business strategy, priorities and building community and sense of belonging among employees.

  • Comfortable and effective in serving as a strategic communications partner to senior leaders; able to confidently offer ideas and negotiate communication plans, both verbally and in writing.

  • Extremely proactive in identifying needs and adopting a solution-oriented mindset to address them.

  • Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.

  • Able to embrace ongoing change, pivot quickly, and effectively deliver against tight deadlines; demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and grace under pressure.

  • Enjoy both strategizing and “rolling up your sleeves” to execute plans.

  • Diplomatic, with the ability to identify and manage organizational and cultural sensitivities.
